Day 334 – Tuesday, April 11, 2017
Languid Moon
She woke to catch the languid moon,
Departure so resisted
Who glistened off the Salish Sea,
Like crystals he’d enlisted
And through the day bore witness to,
His short and sad defiance
As tender plantings said good-bye,
Magnificent alliance
Camellias bled their rosy deaths,
And cherries, –soft pink tears
Three-days time, so short and fine,
He draws his friends of years
And sweet magnolia, luscious girl,
Your man you’ll soon be missing
White blossoms bloom, from budding womb,
Full rays of moonlit kissing…
