Mo’s Prose – Day 324 / Adventure Awaits!

Day 324 – Saturday, April 1, 2017

I know you’ve heard me grousing,
And I’m sick of it myself
Was time to take some action,
And get over my bad self

My head and bod have had a time,
With hurt and injury
I need some time to shake it off,
Reclaim the real me

I’m headed for Sri Lanka,
Where I’ll travel in the woods
Counting wild elephants
No wouldda, couldda, shoulds

Not sure how long I’m staying,
And not sure if I’ll return
Just know that peace in head and heart,
Is something I must earn

So wish me luck amigos,
With the lessons that I’ll learn
And as Bob Seger sang it so,
Another page will turn
