Knowing

Is it better to know what’s inside?
Is it better to know where you’ll be?
Would DNA testing or financial besting,
Honestly do much for me?

If I would have known where I’d go,
Or end up in places I’ve seen
What would I change, or now rearrange,
I’d still be a girl named Maureen

The trouble with knowing your fate within time,
Is usually it’s too late to fix
You’ve most of it sussed, by luck or by fussed,
It’s too late to alter your mix

So this must be where we should Zen,
Accepting the world that arrives
Because you don’t know, so get up and go,
Discovering what’s in our lives
