Day 311 – Sunday, March 19, 2017
Temporary Thaw
Oh thank goodness for the plane that flew my ass down south,
Drying just a little bit; leaves good tastes in my mouth
Waterlogging stopped awhile and fungus growth did slow,
Mold and mildew in my life, did not have space to show
Wandering a desert flat, reminders I forget,
That drip of moisture down my neck; it wasn’t rain but sweat!
Memory of the summer’s sun, –my bod could use the roast,
Tan me ‘fore I scare a dog with legs white as a ghost!
