Done With Winter

I’ve had it with Winter, I’M DONE!
This coldness is no longer fun
Tired of the gray, I wanna go play,
I’m bailing for time in the sun

I wanna go hiking, I wanna go biking,
I wanna go walking at night
I want some long days, with bright sunny haze,
And weekends including some light!

‘Cause patient I’ve been, but nearing its end,
I want to wear cutoff or shorts!
I want to go swimming, and more than just gyming,
I want to play Frisbee and sports

My plant are bemused, or very confused,
They’re thinking it’s time they should grow
I bet that they’re twitching, and secretly wishing,
They’d pull up their roots and just go!

So yes I am asking, and praying for basking,
I’d really like Spring to show face
I’d love to store all of my sweaters this year
And sit with a drink in the chase!
