REACH!
     like the mighty trees
whose roots and branches strive in eternity
     for light and nourishing earth

Instinct driven,
     breaking structure and barriers
New life sprouting through cracks
     of seemingly impenetrable stone       

Each tree weaving its path beyond soil, rock, concrete,
     finding a way,
          in an unending embrace of growth
For without an innate, continuous force, –trees die

So REACH, dammit
     Reach, like the mighty trees
