Day 354 – Monday, May 1, 2017
Floaters
Today, I went to the dentist,
And as long as I was there
I hopped down to the optometrist,
So they could check my stare
You see, I’m seeing floaters,
They’ve driven me to derision
And fuzzy crap –my ass does chap,
That wafts into my vision
There’s one big blob I try to catch,
Like mice or flying bugs
And twitch my head, like walking dead,
Or whack-job high on drugs
I did not think I’d waltz right in,
I thought I’d set a date
But someone canceled, here you go,
So I said, hey that’s great!
They dilate both your eyes you know,
Those suckers do expand!
And when your pupils open wide
Lights blind you on demand
By then inside, you’re screaming out,
To close the friggin’ blinds!
Then off you go and drive a car,
–Are they out of their minds?!
And so you squint, flip the visor,
‘Til you make it back
And thank your lucky, lucky stars,
There was no heart attack!

Happened upon this site – I hope life is treating you well!!!
I have some very good memories of our time together – 1st hang glide, 1st bungee jump, 2 houses, Nitro (R.I.P)
Well I’ll be darned, life is good! Crazy, but good! I think it was probably you that got me into diving into adventures and I hope you’ve been having grand ones. How ARE you?
